Both because of his intense connection with the concept of memory/time and because he is someone who actually concerns himself with the politics and realities and the ethics of power. The idea of being a god, the importance of it, is something that he would wrestle with, especially given that being a god of something in a place would add something to the world, but his own concerns about whether he should have power would make for an interesting dichotomy. He's the sort of person who acts when he feels that he should but he feels that inaction is important too, and I think that makes for an interesting sort of thought process both for someone who's going to be a deity and in a politics-driven game.
What would you like to do with your character in this game? God of time, work on his writing, trying to learn the ways of this world and how it works, make... friends? He's really bad at socialization but maybe this sort of place'll go better.
