Application
The application process is pretty simple. This is intended to cut down on the time the moderator spends reviewing applications, as well as to simplify entry into the game. While applications are considered a process by which mods can determine if someone is truly invested in play, Dusk of the Gods has an overall format which requires regular activity, and has several measures in place to prevent the dreaded "character squatter".
Please fill out the provided form and submit it as a comment in the responses. As the application form is very straightforward and should require no revisions, applications will either be Accepted or Rejected.
If your application is rejected, please wait one month before applying again (as you would for a game with a normal application cycle) unless you are given other directions.
The application is really easy. You literally just have to follow instructions.
Applications are reviewed within 24-48 hours of submission. If 48 hours have passed and your application has not been reviewed, please reply to your application with a note reminding the mod to get on it.

Profile for your character: Born of nothing, bound for greatness, Rey is an adaptable, rough-and-ready scavenger hailing from the desert wilderness of the "scrapyard planet" of Jakku. For as long as she can remember she's lived on her own, working amidst airship skeletons and scrounging for parts to re-sell to Unkar Plutt.
All this changed when she came across a small droid in need, a BB-8 unit carrying the map to the self-exiled Luke Skywalker. She was pulled into the war between the First Order and the Resistance, which led to awakening her dormant Force Powers.
Rey is easily one of the most stubborn and resilient people you'll meet. She's tough as nails, having developed a thick skin after over a decade of having to learn to survive. Having been both sold off by her parents and abandoned by more or less anyone she allowed herself to trust, she's slow to warm to new people but once earned, she'll stop at nothing to demonstrate her loyalty.
Due to her survivor's upbringing, she's also someone who is known to hit first, ask questions later. She is a woman of action more than she's inclined to talk things out. This makes her an unusual but refreshing candidate to carry on the Jedi legacy that Luke Skywalker leaves her with.

Why do you believe your character is an appropriate fit for this game? Rey is an adaptable character who will go beyond "omg where am I send me back aaah" and make the most of any situation she's thrust into. That, and her canon is currently forcing her to take on a responsibility that she feels severely out-classed for--what better practice than being a god for Vernos Bay?
What would you like to do with your character in this game?
Step 1: Claiming the throne for Summer (hot-tempered, desert-raised, bright and furious)
Step 2: Find people she can--well, not trust, but at least have a peaceful coexistence with.
Step 3: Beat up Kylo Ren or maybe have some feels with him, can't decide which.
