Applications are Open.

The application process is pretty simple. This is intended to cut down on the time the moderator spends reviewing applications, as well as to simplify entry into the game. While applications are considered a process by which mods can determine if someone is truly invested in play, Dusk of the Gods has an overall format which requires regular activity, and has several measures in place to prevent the dreaded "character squatter".

Please fill out the provided form and submit it as a comment in the responses. As the application form is very straightforward and should require no revisions, applications will either be Accepted or Rejected.

If your application is rejected, please wait one month before applying again (as you would for a game with a normal application cycle) unless you are given other directions.

The application is really easy. You literally just have to follow instructions.

Applications are reviewed within 24-48 hours of submission. If 48 hours have passed and your application has not been reviewed, please reply to your application with a note reminding the mod to get on it.

Are you over 18? WAY older, yes.
Other characters: Not yet!
Character's Name: Seth Gecko
Character's Canon: From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series
Profile for your character: A professional thief--not a killer, so he calls himself. Seth has a mouth that can easily talk himself into trouble with about as much as he talks himself out of it. He can be suave and charming but equally an asshole and callus. The closed off way he carries himself is a side effect from a life of crime and difficult childhood.

Seth likes control and is commonly known as the head of the Gecko Brothers, Richie is the brains with some of the brawn where Seth has charisma and people skills along with muscle. The eldest Gecko has a protective streak that is instinctive, often shielding others from hazards. Seth doesn't hold back touch from anyone familiar. The brothers are best friends yet can also be their worst enemies.

The Geckos tend to be affectionate with one another, Seth using more touch than Richie overall. His protective streak is often in the for of shielding someone from danger which he does almost instinctively, not calling attention to it. Seth projects being unaffected and not caring rather than seen as week.

What he tries to act like or says he is, isn't what he's really like. He is seen often shielding vulnerable characters and even gave up most of a score along with mode of transportation when they parted ways. His method of helping someone else is sometimes rude and mean. He considers it a favor, opting to being blunt with them.

Loyalty is a big thing for Seth. Although they came from an abusive father, Seth appears enraged at discovering his younger brother was ultimately responsible for the man's death. Neither does he come to Richie's defense when someone his brother betrayed threatens to end him. Seth also kills a lover the moment he finds out she's made a deal with enemy though she had been in his (Seth's) corner.

Writing Sample: Some cross canon fun

Why do you believe your character is an appropriate fit for this game? Seth has been a mere mortal battling monsters both human and supernatural--to include 'gods' so it will be fun having him in the role.

What would you like to do with your character in this game? I love putting my characters through hell and look forward to seeing him working with others which isn't high on the list of things that Seth enjoys. Plus there are some awesome rpers in this game that I've had past game experience with.

Here's another one!

Why do you believe your character is an appropriate fit for this game? um Diana is a demigod in canon and the Gods are all dead in her world. It would be interesting to see how she interacts in a game where the goal seems to becoming Gods. That, and I'm mean and like to toss her games where she might stumble a bit. But really, I think this would be a good game for her because she would try and become a bigger God and try and help those she thinks needs it. She's nice that way.

What would you like to do with your character in this game? Honestly? I'm not sure yet but I'm mean and so I'm probably going to do mean things to her so she can dig herself out of stuff. But I know a couple of players in the game, so I'm sure it won't be hard to find stuff for me to do with her. :)

Character's Name: Kylo Ren / Ben Solo

Character's Canon: STAR WARS

Profile for your character: "It is the task of the First Order to remove the disorder from our own existence, so that civilization may be returned to the stability that promotes progress. A stability that existed under the Empire, was reduced to anarchy by the Rebellion, was inherited in turn by the so-called Republic, and will be restored by us. Future historians will look upon this as the time when a strong hand brought the rule of law back to civilization." - Kylo Ren

Kylo Ren is a man torn apart by his own destiny. The grandson of Darth Vader, and child of Leia Organa and Han Solo, he's the heir of two very different forces, the light side of the force and the dark, and a very different villain then seen before in the main Star Wars universe. While serving the obviously evil First Order, Kylo Ren seems completely dedicated to its purpose, which he believes is to bring balance and calm to the whole of the galaxy, by force. Obviously believing the lies told to him by Surpreme Leader Snoke, he sees the Rebellion as a group of liars, murderers and thieves, and sees the First Order as the ones who truly deserve to run the galaxy. He feels as though he needs to follow in Darth Vader's footsteps, and while the call of the light is strong in him, his loyalty to the memory of Darth Vader and to Snoke, as well as the First Order, insists that he reject it in favor of the stronger of the two, the Dark Side.

Despite his calm exterior, Kylo Ren is prone to violent outburts, though unlike his grandfather, is generally directed towards inanimate objects. He, like his lightsaber, require these vents of energy and anger to keep himself steady, the warring of the duality of the force inside of him leaving him desperately unstable.

At the same time he almost retains a sense of humor, commenting on Poe's status as “the best pilot in the rebellion”, addressing Rey in a calm, almost lackadaisical manner for most of their interactions. He's not beyond making faces, the hunched aggravated reaction he gives Hux when the other man blames him for not picking up BB-8 proving it.

Kylo Ren obviously thinks poorly of his father, considering him weak and foolish, someone who disappointed him as a role model. Even so, he struggles to kill his father when given the opportunity, and is even more destabilized and weakened by the act that was supposed to make him stronger.

If nothing else, Kylo Ren is stubborn and driven, refusing to stop even when desperately injured, to complete tasks given to him and to complete what he believes is his purpose in life.

Writing Sample: https://genessia.dreamwidth.org/1145103.html#cutid1

Why do you believe your character is an appropriate fit for this game? As a Star Wars character, Kylo Ren is easily adapted to other fantasy formats, and playing out the character dichotomy between him and Rey, and other characters sounds like a lot of fun.

What would you like to do with your character in this game? See above!

Are you over 18?  Yes
Other characters: Poe Dameron ([personal profile] wearethespark ), Peter Parker/Spider-Man ([personal profile] yessuitlady )

Character's Name: Marie Helena Kreutz
Character's Canon: The Bourne Series (*Canon point is the end of "The Bourne Identity")

Profile for your character: Marie's role within her series is to serve as both the "accomplice" and (eventual) girlfriend of Jason Bourne.  She is a 26 year old woman who little is known about minus that she has a father, grandmother, half-brother and that she has a history of appearing and disappearing off of the grid. Her mother is unknown and implied to have left her when she was a child. She (and others) also has made mention of a variety of questionable decisions such as "going in on a surf  shop" which turned out to be scam and the fact she had been in a relationship with a married man at one point. Other small pieces of information that can be found about her are just that she occasionally has paid a phone bill, but other than that her existence is "off the grid" minus those few occasions. Her primary actions in her canon concern her chance meeting and her following decision to stay and help the title character with his goal of finding out his past and little else and  in the process serves as his emotional support and as an anchor to his humanity.

Marie is shown to be someone whose personality contains "multitudes". She is someone who is impulsive yet guarded. But she is also shown to be kind, curious, loyal, generally forgiving/understanding of others, and fiercely brave. She is shown to also be easily hurt when she is forcibly sent away into hiding and has strong distaste for violence. She goes into shock when she watches a failed assassin chooses to commit suicide over giving answers to Jason after an attack was thwarted.  She also (later in her canon) vehemently tells Jason that she does not want him to kill someone who is chasing them. She tries to be an optimist for others as seen when she tries to console him after he expresses frustration with a lack of progress with remembering things and that all he can remember are the bad. She also is shown as curious by her peeking into a journal where his memories and dreams are written down.

She also is shown to be very savvy and independent as seen as quickly deviating from a plan to gather a room service bill by deciding to pose as a personal assistant when she noticed a hotel employee smiling at her. She also as a side to her that seems to have a soft spot for children as evidenced by her guilt when another asset attacks the farmhouse and her panicked stammers of "but these children" when she became scared that her exes children would be hurt. She also has a sharp tongue when uneasy or feeling annoyed and tendency to hurl curses in both English and German. She also has a tendency to talk to a mile a minute when she is excited or nervous yet very little of what she says (on screen) is ever about herself.

Why do you believe your character is an appropriate fit for this game?

I thought it would be fun to have Marie and Miles Upshur CR.

What would you like to do with your character in this game?

I don't have any particular overarching plots in store for Marie, but I would like to do have her take the role as "Goddess of Spring" and slowly watch her (attempt to) make a home or place to belong for herself in the Bay. Her canon showed her as someone who was always bouncing from place to place so I thought it would be interesting to see her forced into a position where she couldn't necessarily leave if things got hard or she got bored with her situation.

Are you over 18? More than twice 18!
Other characters: Seth Gecko [personal profile] darknstormy

Character's Name: Finn (aka FN-2187)

Character's Canon: Star Wars

Profile for your character: When first introduced to his character, viewers are subjected to what appears like a hyperventilating storm trooper. It isn't the first (or the last) that a storm trooper is seen to be afraid but there is something more to it. The trooper displays a consciousness, mourning over a fallen fellow trooper and visibly shaken over how the villagers are being decimated by the First Order (the faction he is a soldier for).

The shaky trooper is seen again taking off his helmet and still panting for breath. He is a young man who is sweating profusely but insists he's fine when questioned by a superior. Shortly after, the unmasked storm trooper finds the resistance fighter captured and sets out to free him, 'because it's the right thing to do'. The two become fast friends as Poe Dameron renamed the storm trooper to Finn from his call sign (FN-2187).

Escaping the First Order with a Resistance Fighter doesn't automatically assign Finn as one of the good guys. The two crash back on the planet Poe had been taken from (needing to return for his droid to complete a mission for the Resistance). When Finn can't find any sign of the fighter pilot, it's unknown what the defector might do. Until a young woman catches his eye. One who just happens to be looking after the droid (BB-8) that his newly made, and recently lost, friend had returned for.

Something about the young woman draws Finn in. Doing the right thing seems to evade him in Rey's presence, allowing her to believe that he's with the Resistance and not a defecting storm trooper. They've hardly exchanged a few sentences before the First Order is on their heels in pursuit of the droid that had been the connection between them.

Yet it really isn't BB-8 that unites them. Neither is their similar origin of being orphans. The closest Finn could put into words was that Rey looked at him like no one ever had. He knew his decision to leave the First Order had been the right choice and not standing by Rey had been wrong. He nearly gave his life for her more than once since they met. Even when not at her side, what she'd think of him governs his actions.

Rey isn't the only one who affects him. Poe was his first true friend and Kylo his first true enemy. Between the two men, Finn finds traits of what to be and what not to be. All three relationships have a profound effect as do others... Han, Chewbacca, Leia and Rose. The last seen of Finn is almost a reversal of the first appearance, flying into the face of imminent death instead of running away while also the familiar sight of seeing him leave everything behind the moment he sees Rey.

Writing Sample: action style and prose style

Why do you believe your character is an appropriate fit for this game? Finn has seen everything from the Dark Side of the Force to the Light, good and bad--nearly everything in between. It'll be fun seeing him in the role of a god and how he'll take to it.

What would you like to do with your character in this game? I'm excited to bounce him off cast mates and try my hand at Finn in a game environment. He'll want to help his friends and the natives/people.

Do you understand the rules? Yep.

Profile for your character: When we are first introduced to Kara, what we see is a young girl who is lost and afraid. Despite all of the confusion and pain, her first instinct is to fight back. She may not have gotten far in her combat training back on Krypton but Kara is certainly a fighter in spirit. You could call Kara violent, but you could also call her passionate. She cares deeply for her family, even the extended portion that her father refuses to speak to. When people she cares about are at risk Kara doesn't pull her punches. When she’s been hurt, she can be a touch vindictive, but she does not actively seek revenge.

She can be very stubborn and something of a loner. Once she sets her mind to something she is very difficult to convince otherwise. She likes to find answers for herself and is not overly trusting of others. But she isn't stupid, either. In fact, Krypton was highly technologically advanced and subjects like astrophysics are standard fare in school.

The people that she does attach herself to Kara will defend viciously. When shown kindness Kara is readily willing to make new friends and show them kindness in return. When she does make friends she stands by them no matter what. Kara's loyalty is fierce and it is allotted to everyone that she cares about.

Character's Name: Elsa of Arendelle

Character's Canon: Frozen (Disney)

Profile for your character: (I will be using the end of the movie Frozen for her canon point)
Elsa, Queen of Arendelle, is the eldest daughter of Agnarr and Iduna, the former rulers of the small and isolated nation. She is an intensely private woman, having been cursed with incredible magical power over cold, snow and ice since her youngest years. Magic was viewed more as a curse than as a blessing, especially when her magical power hurt her younger sister Anna, forcing the family to seek out the help of local trolls to heal her. Anna lost her memory of that incident and Elsa's parents raised and trained their eldest to shield her emotions and conceal her magical powers. She lived an isolated life until her coronation upon their death, yearning for the comfort of her family's love but terrified of hurting them all.

Shortly after her coronation, during a party with dignitaries of state and the leaders of the community, an announcement by her sister of an intention to court Prince Hans of the Southern Isles and coming into contact with her sister without her gloves on caused her to lose emotional control. She displayed her magic and fled into the night, motivated out of fear of their response and compassion for her people, as she believed she was a monster because of her magic and someone that they needed to be protected from. In the far reaches of the kingdom, she crafts for herself a castle of ice where she can be free to use her magical power without endangering her.

The side-effect of her exercise of her powers is a seeming eternal winter descending upon her beloved Arendelle. Anna comes to her to plead with her to put an end to the winter, only to be inadvertently wounded by Elsa's magic. In the aftermath of Prince Hans' ultimate betrayal, her sister sacrificed herself to save Elsa's life, causing the queen to embrace her emotions and the love she felt for her only living relative. It gave her the control necessary to free Anna from the icy transformation that had taken her, along with releasing Arendelle from the grips of winter. Afterwards, Elsa continued to rule the kingdom beside her sister and slowly learned to control her magical power more effectively, in part by accepting her emotions and magic as something natural, not evil.

Elsa is still a very prim and proper woman. She prefers to wear gloves and clothes that cover almost all of her skin, eschewing physical contact with others whenever possible. Though, having come to terms with her magical power and no longer seeing herself as evil, she does not smile often (Though when she does, it is a warm and welcoming smile) and tends to be quiet and withdrawn with her emotions. Inside, she has a turbulent roil of them from having pent them up as long and as much as she has, and she still struggles to an extent with self-loathing as is seen in future installments of the franchise beyond her canon point. She is a deeply compassionate woman who loves her people and wants to protect others, notably from herself but also from anything that would cause them harm. She privately loves her power and the freedom that it gives her, but does not like the idea of it causing others too much trouble.

A woman of great principle, her first thoughts are for the needs of others. She could easily exhaust herself by putting people under her charge before herself, particularly when it comes to her sister Anna. She has a strong motherly instinct, and is very protective of those that she has taken into her care. This can make her be prone to being a little over-protective and even smothering at times, especially with Anna or someone else with whom she becomes closer. She can be playful at times, though she tends to only show this side of herself with the young or her closer friends.

Writing Sample:
Elsa pulled her glove on and sighed while she looked across the throne at the person who addressed her. Of course, she was going to need to make appearances now that she had taken the throne, and there were going to be supplicants. She should have been used to this sort of thing by now, really, after her time serving as the Queen Regnant of her homeland. Still, it took a bit of getting used to.

Composing herself, she put on a small smile and nodded from where she sat on the throne. Amongst strangers, as long as she had her gloves on she felt safer somehow, distant, where she needed to be until she could trust herself with them. “Please, rise,” she said in a polite, formal tone, motioning for the supplicant to get to their feet. “Now, tell me how the throne of winter may be of service.”

Why do you believe your character is an appropriate fit for this game?
Besides the obvious connection of Elsa to Winter, snow, frost, ice and the cold, it is an opportunity for her to feel constructive in the use of her power. While the idea of being a goddess worshiped by others would disturb her, the feeling of being actively useful in helping to maintain an aspect of reality, and knowing that her powers are serving as a necessary good, rather than an uncontrolled force tied to her emotions, would be a deeply inspiring experience for her. With a bit of familiarity with court politics, she could navigate the interplay of the various gods, most likely without engaging in an aggressive stance towards others, and trying to settle into a stable relationship with her fellow seasonal gods.

She would almost certainly want to return to Arendelle, but not without first making sure that the power of winter was intact once again, the seasons back in their normal flow. She would probably not even be willing to try to find a way home until she had found and named a successor (likely among her demigods if she finds them.).

What would you like to do with your character in this game?
I don't have specific plans, other than that she would likely seek out the temple of winter very quickly in the hopes of both managing the season and helping to return them to normal (inadvertantly not realizing that there is no spring at the same time currently), along with hoping that sitting upon the throne would help her maintain control better without her sister Anna around.

If accepted and nobody selects the God of Spring position prior to the end of spring this year, I might suggest an 'ongoing winter' player plot for this spring, as Winter returns but there is no spring to take over, waiting for Summer to thaw the last of the snow and frost.

Do you understand the rules?
Yes.

Your Name: Malia

Are you over 18? Yes
Other characters: N/A

Character's Name: Edward Elric

Character's Canon: Fullmetal Alchemist (Manga)

Profile for your character:
Physical Appearance: Edward Elric is a slightly shorter than average young man of about 16 years. He has long blonde hair which he usually keeps up in a braid or ponytail, though he has long unkempt bangs that hang in front of his face. Of course, you can’t forget his little hair antenna either. He has golden eyes and is in very good physical fitness, save for his missing right arm and left leg which he lost over a failed human transmutation. In their place, he has automail prosthetics which are a bioelectrical system to allow Edward mobility and normal function as if they were his real limbs. The automail is traditionally made of steel, though by the point at which I’m taking Edward he had been upgraded to cold-weather automail which is composed of other compounds to prevent frostbite in frigid climates. Edward generally wears black clothing. Part of the reason is to hide the unavoidable grease stains from his automail, and the other is his terrible questionable taste in fashion.

Personality: Ed has a very loud personality. He speaks his mind and doesn’t seem to care much about what most people think about it. He also has a hot temper and tends to solve his problems through violence rather than more rational means. In contrast to this however, Ed has very high morals and is adamant about sticking to them, especially taking the life of another. While Ed might grab you by your shirt and beat your face in, he’s not about to beat you so badly that you die from it.

Despite his rough edges, Ed is a rather compassionate young man and is often seen sympathizing with other characters, even to the point where said characters get frustrated and chide him for taking pity on them. There are multiple occasions through the story in which Ed goes out of his way to help others, often at great risk to his title as State Alchemist or even his life.

Edward is very driven and determined and he doesn’t like to be idle. His main motivation in the story is to restore his brother’s body and his own limbs that were lost during the rebound that occurred when he and Al tried to resurrect their mother, and it carries him through many obstacles and hardships that might be too daunting for others. As much as Alphonse doesn’t like it, Edward tends to carry the majority of the responsibility for what happened to their bodies and he sees it has his sole duty to rectify it. He understands that it was his own actions that got him to where he is now, and he doesn’t expect nor want anyone to be drawn in to his problems.

Writing Sample: [Note: This is a sample from an application to another game.]
Edward had been surprised to see Alphonse when he arrived in Riverview. He was even more surprised to see his bother instead of the seven-foot-tall suit of armor his soul had been bound to for the past five years, and not only that, but he looked healthy and well fed. Ed had just seen Al’s body in the portal, seen how thin and weak it was from years of literally sitting there doing nothing but waiting for his soul, but now here he was. As healthy and lively as ever, and for some reason, wearing his clothes. A few of his physical features were different too. His hair was darker and he wore it long unlike when they were younger and it was cut nice and short. There was also a strange color to his eyes. It wasn’t the same golden color that Ed had, nor was it the same as the color of the eyes the other Al had.

There was another concern. Neither of their experiences matched up. At least, not after the fiasco when they had tried to resurrect their mother. There were similarities at first, but even then there were details that were too different to ignore, and those were the memories that they supposedly shared. Ed could see the similarities between this person that called himself Alphonse Elric and the body of his brother that he had seen in the portal, but there was just too much that was just…off. This wasn’t Alphonse, not the one he knew. That much was clear to Edward. However, he couldn’t deny the same confusion that this “Al” experienced when they had spoken to each other. He had been told that other worlds existed, and just seeing Riverview had been proof of that, but was it possible for other worlds to be so similar to each other?

It was still dark when Ed woke up that morning, and the apartment was silent. He had gone over to “his” place where Al said he was staying. He had crashed on the couch in the common area due to the fact that there was an unknown woman in his bed. Apparently, his doppelganger had been sharing it. How and why were unimportant for the moment. What was important now was figuring out what the hell he was going to do with himself now that he was here.

Why do you believe your character is an appropriate fit for this game? I think it would be interesting to see how Ed would develop as a character where there are gods and godly powers, especially since he’s so skeptical of such things. It’s actually how he would clash with this world that makes him an interesting character to play in such an environment. His alchemy would also draw attention from the NPCs and PCs alike and make for some interesting development.

What would you like to do with your character in this game? I tend to just app in and go with the flow of CR and events, but I like to think that Ed would have to quickly break out of his SCIENCE mindset to adapt. I think he would be focusing on trying to find a way back to his home world, but depending on what goes down, there is a possibility that someone could eventually convince him to take a throne for the benefit of the people of this world.

Do you understand the rules? I understand and accept the rules of the game as they are currently posted.

Character's Name: Ami Mizuno/Sailor Mercury

Character's Canon: Sailor Moon

Profile for your character: In a past life, Ami Mizuno was known as the Princess of Mercury, the Senshi of Mercury, and one of Princess Serenity's loyal advisors and guardians.

Fast-forward to modern day. Ami Mizuno is the only child to two very successful parents. Her mother is a doctor who is very well-respected in her field while her father a traveling artist. At a young age, her parents divorced and Ami remained with her workaholic mother in a sky rise condo in Minato, Tokyo. Due to her mother consistently being absent, Ami learned from an early age to be self-reliant, and often entertained herself with books and other means of intellectual discovery. She was a naturally brilliant study, and was met with many successes through her academic career.

Ami continued throughout her childhood making excellent marks on her intellectual pursuits, spending what free time she had on her studies. She would attend cram sessions after school in order to get ahead of her peers in order to avoid long stretches of emptiness that would be greeting her were she to head straight home.

In her second year of junior high school, her fate took a drastic turn. For reasons that to this day elude Ami, she somehow caught the attention of Juuban Junior High's enthusiastic under-achiever, Usagi Tsukino. Brought together by Usagi's talking feline companion, Luna, Ami found herself taken with the natural likeability of the bubbly dumpling-headed girl. Ami followed Usagi to a popular arcade, and the two girls bonded over an arcade game. Ami was rather good at it, considering it was essentially a computer program. Ami achieved the game's top score before Ami realized she was running late and had to rush to her special "Crystal Seminar" cram session.

As it turned out, the cram session was actually one of the Dark Kingdom's plots to steal energy from the diligent students attending. With individual "Crystal Disks" distributed to each of the attendees, they were brainwashed and rendered unconscious. Fortunately for Ami, her disk was dropped in the rush from the arcade to the school, and it fell into the hands of Usagi, who had along with Luna discovered the truth behind the disk's contents.

Usagi and Luna snuck into the cram school under disguise, arriving just in time to save Ami from a certain death. She transforms into Sailor Moon to face off against the youma Garoben, leaving Luna to tend to the weakened and bewildered Ami. Although Luna had initially believed Ami to be one of the Dark Kingdom's henchmen, it was soon discovered that Ami was the Sailor Senshi of Intelligence and Water, Sailor Mercury! Bestowing upon the girl a transformation pen of her very own, Ami transforms and together with Sailor Moon defeats the youma.

This was the start of what was to be a new, unbreakable friendship.

Over the next few months, three new senshi joined the ranks, each cementing an equally strong friendship with Usagi and each other. Together, they found their Moon Princess (who was actually Usagi), sacrificed themselves for the sake of their Princess, and lent their strength to defeat Queen Beryl and Metallia once and for all.

They were once again reborn to Earth, as though nothing had ever happened. Ami continued her daily life as though she had never met Usagi, until one day Luna reawakened their memories of their pasts in order to defeat a new enemy.

Shortly thereafter, a mysterious little girl from the future appears named Chibiusa. She was searching for the legendary mysterious Silver Crystal which belonged to Sailor Moon. She needed it to save her mother back in the 30th Century. She was being chased after the Black Moon family under the influence of the Wiseman, who had his own plans for the Silver Crystal and the 30th Century city known as Crystal Tokyo. Chibiusa was in fact Usagi and Mamoru's daughter from the future, and the princess of Crystal Tokyo, where King Endymion and Neo Queen Serenity ruled peacefully. They go to the future, discover the existence of Sailor Pluto, and with the help of both the future and present Silver Crystal, the threat from the future is eliminated, and the city is saved, thanks to the Sailor Senshi.

Another threat appeared shortly after, along with new allies. The citizens of Tokyo were having their pure hearts taken from them. The Death Busters, headed by Professor Tomoe and his assistants, were looking for the talismans to bring forth the Holy Grail and awaken Mistress 9 and Pharaoh 90. Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune, who often clashed with the Inner Senshi, were also searching for the talismans, although they had them sealed within themselves. Hotaru Tomoe, Professor Tomoe's daughter, was not only possessed by Mistress 9, but she was the legendary Sailor Saturn, soldier of destruction. Chibiusa returned, befriending Hotaru while unaware of this information. With the talismans found, the Holy Grail came forth, and Usagi was able to transform into Super Sailor Moon. With this new found power, she was able to defeat the Death Busters and save Hotaru, who was to bring about the destruction of the world.

Peace does not last for long. During a solar eclipse, a circus tent appears in the middle of Tokyo, which was home to the Dead Moon Circus. Zirconia, along with the Amazon Trio and Amazoness Quartet, aim to steal people's dream mirrors in order to find Pegasus, whose true form is Helios, the guardian of Mamoru's Golden Crystal. Chibiusa and Helios grow close, and he helps her and Sailor Moon power up, also powering up the senshi during the conflict. The mastermind behind the Dead Moon Circus, Nehelenia, shows herself, and the senshi defeat the Dead Moon Circus and later, along with the help of the powered up Outer Senshi, Nehelenia.

The girls return to their normal lives, Mamoru leaves to study abroad in America, but not before proposing to Usagi. Usagi, now engaged, faces the latest threat without Tuxedo Mask to come to her aid. Sailor Galaxia, the galaxy's legendary golden senshi, aims to take true star seeds from those who have them. The Starlights, consisting of Sailor Starfighter, Sailor Starhealer, and Sailor Starmaker arrive to search for their missing princess, and fight alongside the senshi with a similar goal, though not as allies. One by one, Galaxia kills the senshi, taking their star seeds. Usagi defeats Galaxia, and all the senshi (including Ami) are revived. The Sailor Starlights and the revived Princess Kakyuu have return to Kinmoku, and the girls return to their daily lives.
Personality:
At first glance, Ami Mizuno is a stern, aloof, ambitious over-achiever. She has grown up accustomed to isolation, and appears to favor books and computers to inter-personal relationships. When she is being social, it is most often with teachers and authority figures, with whom she maintains the utmost level of formality.

In reality, Ami suffers from being cripplingly shy. She tends to over-think everything, and is her own worst critic. Human beings are unpredictable, and matters of the heart cannot be regulated in quantifiable means. As such, she is petrified of offending others, as she had dedicated much of her young life to analytical pursuits, rather than social niceties. Up until she met Usagi, her encounters with others were often formal at best, and void of any substantial depth. Ami is introverted to a fault, finding solace in her studies as both a means of escapism, fuel to her dreams, and a method to gain recognition and positive attention. Grades, exams, quizzes, assignments, research...all these things were familiar territory to Ami, and she found comfort in the familiar.

Luckily for her and those around her, she has a circle of friends who have opened her up and expanded her horizons. Through Usagi and the Inner Senshi, Ami has learned that people actually are interested in what she has to say, and that her knowledge serves a purpose other than scoring high on exams and excelling in a career. Ami began to take pride in not just her achievements, but her hobbies as well.

Over the years, Ami has gotten over the more debilitating aspects of her shyness, and is able to speak at considerable length to her friends about topics that she carries a considerable amount of knowledge on. Her knowledge of the sciences, literature, and history are almost encyclopedic, and she can often ramble about things if someone doesn't direct her in a conclusive direction.

Ami does hold an interest in other less-academic topics, though she does harbor those interests with a fair amount of secrecy. She enjoys pop music, romantic literature, ice cream, and anmitsu a great deal, though she goes to great lengths to keep her more frivolous passions under wraps. She also enjoys swimming a great deal, as the silence and weightlessness under the water drowns out the pandemonium of a busy city like Tokyo, and it's the only time when she sincerely feels like her brain stops going at its whirlwind pace.

Although Ami is gentle and quiet, she does carry a great deal of pride on her shoulders. It has developed over years and years of success as a top performer in school, and like most egos, it is a tragically fragile one. On one hand, while she enjoys being known as "the genius" in her circle of friends, there are times where she feels as though she has nothing more to offer the world. Perhaps it is the artistic side of her father peeking through her workaholic facade she comes by so honestly, but Ami wishes that she had a dream beyond gaining her doctorate. She is loathe to follow precisely in her mother's footsteps, especially after seeing the fulfillment that friendship and love brings.

On the other hand, there are also times in which she feels that she makes up for her friends' lack in dedication. Ami finds herself often exasperated at the lack of focus her friends seem to have at their study sessions, and often wonders if they ever take serious consideration towards their own futures...She has more than once been referred to as a slave-driver during these frequent gatherings, which only furthers her resolve to keep her friends on track.

Writing Sample: Here's an old entry from a different journal of mine.

Why do you believe your character is an appropriate fit for this game? She's quiet, studious, and a peace-keeper. She'd want to investigate the mysteries of the world she's found in and would always be a suitable God of Water.

What would you like to do with your character in this game? Put her on the Water throne so we can stop boiling everything!

Do you understand the rules? Yep!
